When Two Ravers Fall In Love...

Jocelynn started her day by getting ready in the most beautiful greenhouse. A place that made you feel like you were outside while you were in it. Sunflowers grew out of the floor, moss covered the ground, and white curtains blew in the wind where doors should have been. Jocelynn slipped in her lavender wedding dress and her Maid of Honor placed a small crystal crown on top of her head. Surrounding her were things that felt like home - her mother, friends who felt like family, and all of the snacks you could ever want.

Once Jocelynn was ready, she ventured outside to do first looks with her father and her husband to be. Both men were amazed and in love with what they saw. When Tanner saw his bride standing in front of him, he could not stay away from her, could not keep himself from kissing her. They were so in love and let everyone know it as we rolled into couple photos.

Their ceremony was a perfect harmony of tradition and personal symbolism. They had read their own written vows privately beforehand, but still promised each other small things like "I promise to not bring home any stray cats", and big things like "I promise to take you as my wife". Jocelynn and Tanner did a Ring Warming ceremony and a Sand Ceremony. Each ring was passed to every guest so they could give it a blessing. Then the bride and groom each had a different vessel of sand and then mixed them together in the final jar: bringing two together as one.

After they were married, it was time for more fun! They had Italian food provided by Olive Garden, drinks poured by Vintage Sips and a playlist personally curated by Tanner. The Maid of Honor and Best Man shared some sweet words about the couple, the bouquet and garter were tossed, and the venue barn dogs were getting all the love they could ever want. I was surprised that two music lovers, like Jocelynn and Tanner, weren't on the dance floor all night, but it's because they wanted to spend time with the people who came to support them.

The night ended just as a storm was rolling in. I was able to say goodbye to the couple and drive home while watching the lightning roll in through the valley.

Congratulations Jocelynn and Tanner on a beautiful day with your friends and family!
